Find Our Missing

This is a new TV show that airs on tvone about black missing people. As we all know mainstream media hardly ever gives as much attention to black missing children as they should. Most of the major cases of missing people that are national news usually involve little white girls and boys. This not to take away from those cases because they are all sad and deserve to be seen but I just don’t quite understand why black missing people don’t get much coverage. According to the black & missing foundation, black people account for 33% of all missing people in this country last year. This is a very important issue and Find Our Missing aims to help solve some of these cases. It airs Wednesdays at 10pm. Check it out.

About blackandtoldsocialmedia

At a very quick pace social media is becoming an essential part of everyday life. As a communications student at The City College of New York I am constantly learning new things about social media. With this blog I plan to spotlight social media news from a black person's perspective. No, I'm not going to get all "Black Panthers" on you but I hope to help you see the world of social media in a new light, the black light of course.
