What I would like to see on Facebook

Apps Facebook could use:

1. A “love”, “dislike” and “meh” buttons. Plenty of people have already said this in the past. It surprises me that Facebook hasn’t added them already but if they did that it would make interacting on Facebook more dynamic. People could let people know how they really feel without having to say it.

2. A “See what had happened was…” posting option. This would be for long drawn out status updates that tell a story. I’ve been known to post long status updates that get cut off and I just absolutely hate it. If they had a “See what had happened was…” update button it would be great, then people like you and me can rant on and not have to be interrupted by character restrictions.

3. The ability to post captions directly on photos with the bubbles like in comics called, “Caption This”. Throwing up funny captions on photos is always fun and really this idea is sorta there already. You can tag people in photos, and when you run your mouse over a person’s face their name pops up. The “Caption This” option would work the same.

If you could add something to  Facebook what would it be. Comments below please.

About blackandtoldsocialmedia

At a very quick pace social media is becoming an essential part of everyday life. As a communications student at The City College of New York I am constantly learning new things about social media. With this blog I plan to spotlight social media news from a black person's perspective. No, I'm not going to get all "Black Panthers" on you but I hope to help you see the world of social media in a new light, the black light of course.
